The JD Breast Cancer Foundation was founded by Northern Ohio residents in memory of a young woman who, during her battle with breast cancer, was in great need of resources and support that could help her both cope with her illness, and make decisions unique to those in her age group with this disease.
Over the past 20 years, JDBCF has adapted to focus on providing short-term financial assistance to qualified individuals in Northeast Ohio undergoing active treatment for breast cancer and inspiring those who have been touched by breast cancer.
We understand how difficult is it for an individual and their family after a diagnosis of breast cancer. Not only are there medical bills to deal with but some may also be experiencing financial hardship due to the cost of treatment and inability to work while in treatment. We are here to help
Project Lifeline, our Emergency Financial Assistance Program helps Northeast Ohio individuals in active treatment for breast cancer with short-term, emergency financial assistance to help keep their utilities on, provide groceries for their family, medical treatment or prescriptions not covered by insurance or perhaps prevent eviction or foreclosure.
​JD Breast Cancer Foundation is one of the only non-profits in Northeast Ohio providing this emergency financial assistance to those diagnosed with breast cancer. We are passionate about our mission and committed to providing the support those with breast cancer desperately need.
